REED Fashion Week 2025: More Than A Style Statement

It began as a playful experiment. Today, it's an annual tradition we anticipate. Inspired by KL Fashion Week (KLFW), we asked — what if we brought that same creative buzz into the office? So we did — by translating fashion’s essence into our own design, storytelling, and collaboration. That’s how REED Fashion Week (RDFW) came to life in 2024.

From the onset, the mission was simple: break out of the monotony. Long days, tight deadlines, and multiple discussions often leave little room for play, and sometimes that’s reflected in how we show up — muted fits, tired faces, autopilot energy. RDFW flipped that. “It gave us space to inject our personality again, take pride in our style, and hype each other up for more than just work,” said Shafiq, REED videographer, editor, and the creator of RDFW.

Then came the spark that took RDFW 2025 to a different level: the ‘Tag Game’. A strategic, fashion-based elimination challenge where teams picked primary colours and spent the week hunting down rivals who wore the same shade. Suddenly, style wasn’t just about looking good. It became a strategy — reading the room, syncing with teammates, and adapting fast to outsmart the opponent. Rivalry fuelled creativity, and what we wore turned into stories — fonts, colours, and layouts reimagined as wearable ideas.

The real win? Rediscovering the spark that makes us, us. RDFW 2025 proved that creativity thrives when it’s shared — when ideas bounce, when energy builds, and when we cheer each other on. Now, RDFW isn’t just an office tradition. It’s a cultural reset — proof that at REED, play, strategy, and creativity will always walk the same runway.
